A fox got one of the chickens yesterday afternoon and a second is missing.

There were none of 'Ambers' feathers around, so we think she escaped unlike our Maran cross (grey barred feathers) who didn't survive but at least fed a humgry fox. So if you see an Amber/Ginger chicken you know where she's come from!
